I wish I could toughen up as I always used to
I wish I could hold up the tears in my eyes from rolling down my cheeks
I wish I could smile away all sorrows
I wish I could see sunshine on a gloomy day
I wish I could pull it together.

I wish it would be easy to roll a dice
I wish it would be easy to build a sand castle
I wish it would be easy to follow the rules
I wish it would be easy to flip a coin.

I wish things would have been different
I wish I could care more
I wish I could make one smile.

I had thought it would be a lot more simpler!
